This guide will walk you through the steps to set up and use Heidi Health within Better Clinics, helping you streamline your clinical documentation process.
Getting Started
Choose a Client: Navigate to a client’s profile in Better Clinics.
Access Notes: Go to the Notes section.
Enable Heidi: Click the Heidi button.
Click "Continue in a new window"
Sign In: A new window will open. Log in to your Heidi AI account, or sign up if you don’t have one.
Confirmation: Once the integration is active, you’ll see a success message.
7. Click on “Use Heidi on your integration”
You should now be able to see this:
Using Heidi for Clinical Notes
Select a Client: Open the desired client’s profile.
Provide Context: Add patient details for more tailored notes.
Start Recording: Click Start Visit to begin using Heidi.
End Recording: When finished, click End Session.
Template Options:
Choose from Heidi’s pre-designed templates or create your own.
Customize the voice style for the generated notes:
Brief: Concise summaries.
Goldilocks: Balanced detail.
Detailed: Comprehensive notes.
Super Detailed: Exhaustive documentation with quotes and minor details.
Review and Push Notes:
Preview the generated transcription or note.
Once satisfied, click Push Note to save it in the client’s profile.
Using Heidi for Note Templates
Navigate to Templates: Open the Note Template section.
Enable Heidi: Click the Heidi button to start.
Select or Create a Template:
Use an existing template or customize your own.
Record and Review:
Start a visit, record your notes, and click End Session.
You notes are now automatically summarized and generated based on the template you selected.
Review Heidi’s generated notes for accuracy.
Save and Push: Click Push Data
Using Heidi for Letters
Access Heidi for Letters:
Click the Heidi button and select Open Full Version.
Create or Select a Template:
Click Tempalate library
Click "Blank Template"
Create your customer Letter Template. (Follow Heidi’s guidelines for customization)
Click "Save for Later"
Return to Better Clinics, Start and Finish Recording:
Begin with Start Visit and end with End Session.
Select the letter template you created:
5. The recording will automatically populate the letter with the finalized content, combining the letter template and the details from your recording.

Always review generated notes for accuracy and completeness.
Experiment with different voice styles to find the best fit for your practice.
Use Heidi’s transcription feature to revisit or revise any recordings.
