In Australia, registration of Alpha Tags is required to help reduce spam and prevent fraud. This registration process involves approval by our SMS provider to ensure compliance with security standards.
Approval Tip | Description |
Match Business Name | Use an Alpha Tag similar to your business name (e.g., “HealthPoint” for "HealthPoint Physio"). |
Avoid Generic Terms/Personal Names | Names like “Clinic” or “Mark” are usually too broad and may be rejected. |
Character Limit | Stick to 11 characters or fewer. Abbreviations are fine if still recognizable. |
No Special Characters | Only use letters and numbers; special characters may cause issues with approval. |
